Thyme is a classic herb associated mostly with Mediterranean cuisine, although it is used all over the world. It has a subtle aroma and its flavor is slightly reminiscent of mint. Thyme works very well in blends such as Herbes de Provence.
Use in fish, chicken, lamb, veal and steak dishes. Sprinkle into your morning eggs or hash browns for something different.
