Saffron, Spanish


Saffron is a pungent, strong spice used to flavor and tint foods in Europe, India and Asia.  This pure Spanish Saffron (Mancha Superior) is one of the most expensive spices in the world, but a little goes a long way.  This 7 grain (or about .42 grams) container will make several dishes, for example.


Use in bouillabaisse, risotto, paella and rice dishes.  Steep in hot water or broth to draw out even more flavor.
