Shallots are the perfect blend of mild, sweet onion and a hint of garlic.  These freeze-dried shallots save time in the kitchen since they are already cut and can be used in place of fresh.  These will reconstitute instantly when added to any recipe containing liquid.  To rehydrate separately, simply put them in a sieve and pour water over them briefly.


Use in soups, sauces, pastas, rice dishes or any recipe that calls for onion and/or garlic.
