Paprika, Smoked - Hot
Smoked, or Spanish, Paprika is a versatile spice made from dried red chili peppers that are then smoked over natural oak fires. It adds a nice color and a wonderful flavor to just about anything, but is most popular in Spanish cuisine. This one adds the nice heat of cayenne.
Use in rubs, marinades, sauces, dressings and dips. Smoked Paprika works well with vegetables as well as chicken and red meat. Or add as a garnish on deviled eggs, scrambled eggs, pasta salad or potato salad.
