Grains of Paradise

Grains of Paradise is a peppery spice that is similar to cardamom.  It is seen most often in West African dishes and is also known as Melegueta pepper.

USES:

Use in beer, wine, potatoes, eggplant, lamb or beef.  Grains of Paradise is often used in spice blends such as raz el hanout.  

*1 oz = approximately 3 heaping Tablespoons
