Sesame Seeds, White

White Sesame Seeds have a mildly sweet and nutty flavor, but no aroma.  The black seeds are a little stronger than the white, but are mostly chosen over white for the visual effect.  The white seeds are often used in dishes that don't need color.  Sesame Seeds are popular in Asian dishes, but are also used in Western cooking.

USES:

Use in breads, cakes, salads, vegetables, chicken, fish and seafood dishes.  White Sesame Seeds are often used in rolled sushi items.
