Sesame Seeds, Black

Black Sesame Seeds have a mildly sweet and nutty flavor, but no aroma.  The black seeds are a little stronger than the white, but are mostly chosen over white for the visual effect.  Sesame Seeds are popular in Asian dishes, but are also used in Western cooking.

USES:

Use in breads, cakes, salads, vegetables, chicken, fish and seafood dishes.  Add to stir-fries and noodle dishes for a Chinese flair.
