Peppermint, with its strong menthol qualities, is often used in baking, whereas its sweeter cousin, spearmint, is often used in savory dishes. Peppermint is common in desserts, especially where there is a presence of fruit. It also makes an excellent, caffeine free tea.
Use in sherbets and ice creams or sprinkle on fruit. Add when making liqueurs such as creme de menthe. Brew as you would any other tea.
*1 oz = approximately 8 heaping Tablespoons or 15 cups of tea
