Ancho Chiles are dried poblano peppers.  Ancho Chiles have a mild heat and a sweet and rich flavor that is most often showcased in Mexican cuisine.

USES:

Use in enchilada sauce, mole or chili.  The ground chile makes a great addition to a homemade rub.
