Caraway Seed

Caraway has a pungent, licorice flavor, similar to anise and fennel, but more complex.  It has a very distinct flavor that works well in a variety of foods. Caraway is also known to have some medicinal qualities.

USES:

Use in breads - especially rye - desserts, casseroles, sauerkraut and curries .  Also use in drinks such as hot tea or liqueurs.
